The founders

The Founders

Two Different Strengths. One Vision.

Featherpens™ was founded in Guam by Natsumi, Founder & Brand Director, and Levonne, Co-Founder & Creative Director.

They are also husband and wife — but creatively, they come from very different backgrounds.

And that difference became one of the foundations of Featherpens.

Levonne — Co-Founder & Creative Director

The creative roots of Featherpens go back long before the brand existed.

Levonne's artistic foundation was shaped by Guam's street and graffiti culture in the 1990s, where he was a member of EOT, a local graffiti crew.

This was before social media made street culture instantly accessible from anywhere in the world.

His influences came from the environment around him — graffiti, hip-hop, hand-drawn lettering, characters, music, and the streets of Guam itself.

Those experiences helped develop an artistic instinct that stayed with him.

Years later, Natsumi saw that same character in his artwork.

The raw lines.
The lettering.
The characters.
The street influence.

It wasn't an aesthetic created for a clothing brand.

It was already there.

Today, as Creative Director of Featherpens, Levonne provides the artistic foundation behind the brand, developing original artwork and helping shape its visual identity.

Natsumi — Founder & Brand Director

Natsumi saw something in Levonne's work that went beyond individual pieces of art.

She saw what it could become.

Her role wasn't to make his artwork more commercial or replace its imperfections with something polished.

It was to ask:

How can we maximize the potential of this art without losing what makes it his?

That question became part of the foundation of Featherpens.

As Founder & Brand Director, Natsumi develops the strategy surrounding the creative work — from brand positioning and collection concepts to product development, garment selection, production quality, presentation, marketing, and the overall direction of Featherpens.

Her focus is on creating the environment where the artwork can reach its fullest potential.

That includes finding better materials, exploring printing and production techniques, refining how designs translate onto garments, and determining how each collection fits into the larger Featherpens identity.

The goal isn't simply to put artwork on a T-shirt.

It's to make the art, garment, print, concept, and presentation work together as one product.

Where the Two Meet

Featherpens exists where those two perspectives meet.

Levonne brings the art.

A creative instinct influenced by Guam's streets, graffiti, and the experiences that shaped him.

Natsumi builds the brand around it.

She takes that creative foundation and works to maximize its quality, presentation, reach, and potential.

They don't always see things the same way.

That's part of the process.

One protects the instinct behind the art.

The other constantly asks how far it can go.

Together, those perspectives shape Featherpens.

Featherpens™ is a Guam-based independent streetwear brand with creative roots that reach back to the island's street and graffiti culture of the 1990s.

But the goal isn't to recreate the past.

It's to take that foundation and build something new from it.

Something that respects where the creative influence came from while continuing to evolve in design, quality, production, and ambition.

Something born in Guam that doesn't have to be limited by the size of the island.

Levonne brings the roots.
Natsumi builds the direction.
Featherpens is where the two meet.
